...Hawaii and Seoul...
Wow! I can't believe it's already October now! The year's gone by so quickly, I've hardly had a chance to really write about any of the exciting things that have happened. I'll do a quick, but very visual recap of the past couple of trips while they're still fresh in my mind...
HAWAII
So up until Labor Day, I still hadn't been to Hawaii despite my many travels all around the world. I guess I had just taken it for granted since it was so close by, and also because it was part of the US and I'm not really a fan of domestic travel. Additionally, I really didn't want to go there by myself or with my family, so when Milo and Ryan asked me to go, I was totally jazzed and couldn't help but say yes. They had been there a couple of times before and had a lot of local friends there, so I knew my first time there would be well beyond the regular touristy stuff. I got to meet the 808 Crew, and they showed us all an absolutely fabulous time.
let the party begin! Mai-Tai's!
getting blinded by the sun at Hanauma Bay
Ryan and I working on our tans
it started to totally pour just after we finished our hike up to Manoa Falls, so Ryan decided to dance in the rain, haha
Milo's had one too many drinks, lol
Giovanni's yummy shrimp truck!
mmmm, at Matsumoto's Shave Ice (yes, there is no "d" in "shave" in Hawaii!)
aww, the love birds! lol, don't kill me Nano! hahahaha
enjoying the andagi at the Okinawan Festival
ahh, Hawaii! You're soooooooooooo beautiful!
Rich and JD workin' on their yoga
enjoying Labor Day at Ala Moana Beach
last, but certainly not least, our B.F.F!!!!
Ok, so this entry wound up having more pics than I had anticipated, so for the sake of having to scroll even more, I'll save my Seoul pics for another entry, and leave you with one final pic...
