  • …SURPRISE!!!

So I was doing a bit of early Spring cleaning the other day and I realized that I still had to cancel some of the credit cards that I had foolishly signed up for back in my college days. When I went to gather them all up to shred, I was more than pleasantly surprised.

Apparently, I had left $200 in my wallet from like several years ago and never bothered to deposit it or spend it. I can honestly say this beats finding a $5 or $20 in your pocket after you’ve washed your clothes, but still doesn’t eclipse Paul’s surprise visit a couple of months back!   Anyhow, yay for surprises!

  • lucky bitch ;) read the comment I left for Brian..he fobbed out again..HAHAHAH

  • Make sure you cancel those credit cards, too! I cut up my visa credit card a couple months ago and a couple weeks ago, I got a call from the credit card company asking me to confirm a telephone service charged to my card. I was like WTF? Uhh no, bitch. Hahaha.

And thank goodness you didn’t wash the clothes that contained your $200. Can you imagine what would happen?!! You probably couldn’t make out the writing on the mashed up paper anyway I suppose.

  • what the hell…!!!

and whats this sneakiness about me fobbing out again!

  • That’s awesome! I love little surprises like that. :)

  • WOW
    I like that kinda surprise!

  • wow! that would definitely brighten my day! Hope you have a great upcoming weekend!

  • Dang, hella lucky.

I remember some guys giving out coupons that said “free pita” downtown on the first week. Then we saw “after student promotion”.. we got to the place and they wanted us to sign up for a credit card. It’s really sad that people actually signed up for a free pita lol.

  • Hooray!! Now you can buy me lunch. And I don’t mean at Google :)

  • yay for surprises! =)

  • OMG, I bet that made your day. Lucky!

  • after reading your xanga, I tried to copy you…..the only things I found were a bunch of recipes, reminding how I had spent the $200 I don’t have.

damn you lucky bastard! MUST YOU TAKE IT ALL FROM ME? good looks, good bf to surprise you, AND MONEY?

    DAMN YOU TY!

  • See – that’s exactly what I was talking about: more personal savings.  Sure, under a mattress or left sitting in a wallet somewhere isn’t really the best way of saving, but it beats spending it!

  • OMG That’s where my $200 went! GEEZ. I’ve been looking everywhere for the past 2 years! GOD. You had it all this time. GIVE IT BACK TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Now that’s nice! But I’m sure G*ggle will surprise you even more in the months (and years) to come!    I hope that you and Paul both have a great weekend, whether here, there, or both! Do you know aboot the Queen Mary II entering the bay on Sunday? I’ll be on Golden Gate Bridge.

  • help..i am broke
