  • …random…

    I came across this song and it just brought a smile to my face–put things into perspective for me, so I thought I’d share it! Enjoy!

  • so long story:  in high school i based one of my finals on this song (it was the assignment).  it was the only thing i could think of, and i figured *i* would want to hear this type of advice at graduation…  my friend chose the graduation song.  …let’s just say that she got a better grade than i did, but this song brought back some good memories!

  • Yay!! it works… I remember this from freshman year in college. It was profound and very meaningful back then and it is even more so now. Excellent find/re-introduction!!!

  • haha you and i are the right age to remember this song.. and maybe to have a little wisdom in our belt to understand and appreciate what he’s saying.. but alot for us to learn still haha. this was great – gave me a few reminding thoughts.

  • hey ty, turns out i durno your email, but here’s the short of it:

    1. Landmark Legal Professionals (look up their name online)

    2. fill out the online app

    3. you get a call, come in to the san jose office (near SJC airport), talk to em’ for a bit.

    4. they place you based on whatever they have open…sometimes it takes a while to find an assignment, sometimes you get 3 at once (like I did out of the blue)

    5. avg assignment pays 16, range is 16-20

    6. types of jobs you get are temp, temp-to-perm, direct hire

    7. all the jobs are case assistant/paralegal positions, which is a fancy word for office bitch.

  • oh, most jobs are in the penninsula like Palo alto, redwood cty, sometimes in SF, but i think they have a landmark that works in SF…not sure
