  • …on hiatus…

I’m back in Asia! WAHOOO!! It’s been far too long since I’ve last been back, but I’m totally jazzed about being here again. I flew on Singapore Airlines this time, and let me just say that they are INCREDIBLE! I love the service and the seats! I had plenty of space, and their inflight entertainment was simply wonderful! I love on-demand entertainment! I slept most of the time though since it was such a long flight and I had had a full day of being at Disneyland earlier in the day, so I pretty much just passed right out after dinner. I dreamt of Poch, I miss him. Thank goodness I had Lil’ Poch to cuddle with…

So here’s my itinerary for the rest of my time here in Asia…

    Nov. 4   Singapore/Bangkok/Phuket
    Nov. 4-9   Phuket
    Nov. 9   Phuket/Bangkok/Singapore
    Nov. 10-13   Taipei
Nov. 14   back home to SF!

I’ve brought my camera and lots of memory cards, so I’ll be taking lots of pics while I’m here. I’ll try to update my journal throughout my trip, but no guarantees as I didn’t bring my laptop and am at the mercy of internet cafes. I’m in the business lounge right now, and thank goodness they have internet access, but it won’t be the case at all the lounges over here. They did have a shower here though. It felt so good to finally shower after such a long flight. I was able to do my hair and everything, haha! I love Red Carpet Clubs/VIP Lounges!

Well, I’m off to dive into a good new book that I bought to read while I’m over here. I was contemplating purchasing either the DaVinci Code or Amy Tan’s new novel Saving Fish From Drowning, and I went for the latter. I’d have chosen the DaVinci Code were it not for the fact that the edition they were selling didn’t have the pictures/drawings in it. I’m curious about Amy Tan’s new novel anyway. I’m not a fan or anything, but she does write in a very narrative fashion that gets the reader easily on board for cool, albeit commercialized and fantasized, literary sojourn. Eh, we’ll see how it goes…

    …and the adventures begin…
